We’re a casual downtown bar moonlighting as a music venue. We like our beers with flavor, our music with feeling, and our whiskeys neat. We don’t believe in cover charges, but we do believe in the law: You must be 21 to party with us.

Our knowledgeable staff can always tell you about our rotating craft beer list. We do a good job of stocking North Carolina’s top micro-brews, but we like to throw in some out-of-state beverages for a change. Our whiskey guru doesn’t shy away from talking barrels, aging and distillation, either. Got a question? Just ask. Got a life problem? We’ll listen, but we’ll encourage you to have a good time.

We opened our doors late in 2012, and since then have packed out more than 100 shows per year. Our stage hosts stand-up comedians, reggae, funk, and jam acts three nights a week. The patio on 4th street is a great place to watch the downtown hustle of Winston-Salem everyday. Plus, on Sunday’s we do pretty killer Bloody Mary and Mimosa specials!

We’re also pretty big on family here. So, when you come in to Bull’s Tavern and have a great time, you become part of ours. But for now, we’re going to get back to slingin’ drinks. See ya’ soon.
