Spindle 45 brings decades of great music to life with powerhouse vocals, infectious grooves, and a songbook that stretches from the 1960s through today. A little bit of everything from Adele to Zeppelin.

Founded in 2018 and based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this versatile five-piece band blends pop, rock, blues, funk, and R&B into a show built to get people dancing and singing along. Guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards lay the foundation, while saxophone, flute, and other instrumental surprises give the band its distinctive personality.

From Stevie Wonder’s funk to soaring rock anthems and modern pop favorites, Spindle 45 connects generations through songs people love. Creative mashups weave older classics together with newer hits, giving familiar favorites an unexpected twist and keeping audiences listening for what comes next.

Spindle 45: familiar favorites, fresh energy, and plenty of reasons to stay for one more song.

Three separate years, 2020, 2021, and 2023, Spindle 45 has won Yes! Weekly’s “Best Cover Band” in their reader’s choice awards.

In 2021 and 2026, the band also was nominated and won the Winston-Salem Journal reader’s choice “Best Local Band”.
